As part of the Finance practice at Rutgers & Posch, Kees advises his clients on virtually the entire spectrum of banking and capital market products, whether in a domestic or an international context. He works for investors and financial institutions, credit rating agencies and companies, startups and government authorities. Kees’s experience includes structured finance, acquisition finance, property finance, bond issuances, portfolio transfers and restructuring.
Before he joined Rutgers & Posch in 2013, Kees worked for Clifford Chance (including a period in Moscow), Spigt Curaçao and Linklaters. Kees studied Law in Leiden and London, and learned Russian during his time doing national military service. He regularly lectures for students and clients, and publishes in legal journals.
