Huib Schrama

Partner

Huib advises and litigates on commercial disputes and commercial contracts. He represents businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and financiers, for instance in private equity, real estate, tech and finance. Huib has extensive experience in contract law, liability law, private international law, and attachment- and enforcement law. He is regularly engaged in mass damages matters like class actions and –settlements and cartel follow-on proceedings.

Over the years Huib has completed two specialist programs at Grotius Academy with honours: Enterprise & Liability (2015) and Company & Business Law (2017). He has extensive international experience and is a member of the International Bar Association and the International Association of Young Lawyers. In the Netherlands he is a member of the Association for Trade Law, the Association for Procedural Law and the Corporate Litigation Association. Huib lectures and publishes on litigation subjects regularly. Before joining Rutgers & Posch in 2022 he worked for Loyens & Loeff for 12 years.
