Gerard is a highly experienced litigator, and one of the founding partners of Rutgers & Posch. In addition to his broad litigating practice, Gerard’s particular areas of specialisation are domestic and international insurance and liability law, including product and professional liability. His clients include banks, financial institutions, insurers and government institutions.
Gerard’s expertise is frequently requested by the Enterprise Division of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. He is also a lawyer-member of the Dutch Disciplinary Court and a lecturer at the Grotius Academy and the Netherlands Bar. Before founding Rutgers & Posch, Gerard was a partner at DLA Piper.
