Rutgers & Posch advises Hospital SJG Weert on its collaboration with academic hospital Maastricht UMC+ (MUMC+). As part of the collaboration SJG Weert will be converted into a limited liability company whereby MUMC+ acquires all shares. SJG Weert remains an independent hospital with its own management board and an independent supervisory board. The purpose of the collaboration is to ensure the accessibility of care in the province of Limburg and further strengthens the medical and academic care by making optimal use of the available care infrastructure. In addition, the cooperation offers opportunities for broadening the medical scientific research.
