Amsterdam, 1 July 2021 – Rik Analbers will be appointed as a partner at law firm Rutgers & Posch with effect from 1 July. Analbers comes over from AKD. He specialises in corporate and financial litigation. With the appointment of Analbers the Amsterdam office takes the next step in the rollout of the sharpened strategy: focus on corporate law and directly related practices.
For Rik Analbers the appointment means a return to familiar territory. From October 2013 to June 2019 Analbers worked as a lawyer at Rutgers & Posch. “It is special for me to return as a partner to the firm where I have worked successfully and with great pleasure with colleagues in the past on beautiful cases, such as the inquiry proceedings regarding Eneco. I am very much looking forward to shaping the further expansion of the (international) litigation practice together with the recently appointed partner Loek Kerstens (restructuring & insolvency).”
Certainty
Now that the emphasis at Rutgers & Posch has shifted to the (international) corporate law practice with a focus on corporate M&A, capital markets, litigation, employment & benefits as well as finance, and restructuring & insolvency, the firm is looking for talent that fits this profile.
“Rik’s corporate & financial litigation practice fits our profile perfectly. Of course, we have known Rik for a long time. His DNA is similar to ours and our clients appreciate his expertise. We therefore believe that this reunion will bring us all much good,” is how Inge de Laat, managing partner at Rutgers & Posch, explains the appointment of Analbers.
With Analbers’ appointment the firm consists of 9 partners and 25 lawyers. With this the specialised firm takes up a solid position within the corporate legal sector in the Netherlands.
